BIMAL Report
The therapist's use of the machine will usually be applicable during early and intermediate stages of rehabilitation, however, it does have some obvious actions in certain late stage treatment.
The force curve of the hip abductors shows that the prime strength/power output occurs during the ranges of neutral to twenty degrees. Thereafter the performance declines and at a steady rate.
The machine has a particular
function for several conditions:
• Hip degenerative conditions
• Sacroiliac joint dysfunction
• Pelvic disruption
• ACL reconstructions
• Gluteal fascia lesions
• Lumbar-sacral instability due to trandelenburg gait
• Upper aspect hamstring lesions
• Ilio tibial bursae lesions
L• umbar fascia strengthening
• Reciprocal inhibition for lateral rotator inflexibility
