BIMAL Report
The cam profile of the 447 Seated Row is designed to ensure that the imposition of load throughout the movement is uniform, working the biceps, lats, trapezius, posterior shoulder girdle and rhomboids progressively as each muscle assumes a prime role.
The profile of the handles allows the user to either increase or decrease the demand upon the biceps as prime movers or the shoulder girdle retractors. The chest pad acts as a pivot point to aid the user in avoiding the incorporation of the back extensors, thus eliminating the likelihood of overloading the lumbar spine.
The machine is effective for the following conditions:
• Postural re-education
• Posterior shoulder girdle lesion
• Post shoulder re-construction rehabilitation
• Biceps lesions
• Hyper-mobile thoracic spine lesions
• Fractures clavicule
• Disruption to the acromio-clavicular joint
• Respiratory conditions, part of a breathing
re-education regime
